I’ve been meaning to something on this for a while. Something I’ve heard loads about but never really got round to looking at in detail. The McLaren F1 GTR started as a ’oh go on then’ by Gordon Murray that somehow managed to win at Le Mans at the first attempt, beating the faster cars through reliability and wet weather driveablility. Must have been an occasion when everything just added up in the right way and would have to take something similar to happen again. Wasn’t the fastest, but was the most consistent. Enjoy!
