Loki proved himself as a standout character in Loki Season 2 with an adventure taking him above and beyond how the story started for Loki. Explained simply: he’s grown up and accepted a glorious purpose. In this “Loki” breakdown (which will contain Loki spoilers) we explore how Loki Season 2 (spoilers!) spells when we’ll see Loki again…if we do.
As every Loki episode climbed toward the finale, we thought one fate was at hand for Loki, Miss Minutes, Renslayer, and the rest, but fate laid out a different way for Loki. Easter egg evidence isn’t really there this time, and the Loki/ Victor Timely/Kang story also didn’t present itself as fans expected. If and when we see Kang again, this may actually be the opportunity for us to see the new He Who Remains of this Marvel dimension, Loki, God of Stories himself.
While most of the Loki episode 5 “ending explained” content pointed one way, the epic journey in Loki Season 2, Episode 6 (finale) pointed elsewhere and just might be one of Marvel’s greatest moments. Is Loki 2 the real end of the story? Will we have to watch another Loki death sometime? (After that last “Thanos kills Loki” scene, are we even ready for it?) Today we explore when and if will we see Loki again, when Tom Hiddleston could appear, and who the newest Tom Hiddleston Loki evolution really is here on IGN. Stick around for more in-depth IGN Marvel news and coverage!
