Ferrari’s 7-litre V12 one-off 712 Can-Am car blasts Goodwood
In 1971 Ferrari decided to go Can-Am racing, as Porsche, McLaren and Lola had already done. They took the Group 5 512M and modified it, enlarging the V12 engine to seven litres and removing the roof, to create the 670hp 712. It was not a success, which means that only one was ever made, but it remains incredible and at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard owner Paul Knapfield blasted the mighty Ferrari up the hill in the Timed Shootout #FOS #Ferrari #CanAm
