Fishing with Friends (Yes, I have some), Log Gable Posts for the Cabin, Fish Compost

I take a day off the homestead to fish with a couple of friends (Jim Baird and Muskoka Nate), catching over 100 fish and cooking a few on a campfire beside the river. I keep the fish guts and heads to compost with sawdust in my forest garden. I mill gable end posts with an Alaskan chainsaw mill and prepare them for installation this week as I start framing the roof of the log cabin.
