We had some truly amazing and unforgettable moments with over 70 fantastic music guests throughout the whole of 2010 whilst working with Sir Terry Wogan on his live BBC Radio 2 show ‘Weekend Wogan’. But for me personally, there was one week, one special guest, one music legend that stands out as the absolute highlight of the entire year… and that was the week that guitarist Albert Lee came to the BBC Radio Theatre in London, rehearsed with us on the Saturday morning and then the day after, on Sunday, 28 March 2010, joined my band for the live broadcast, playing for my three songs and then stepped up to do his three featured songs... and blew the BBC listeners and live audience away!
