Doom 3 Textures Upscaled With AI

Make sure to watch in 1080p! And maybe pause the video to appreciate the details better. I used the ESRGAN neural network to upscale Doom 3’s textures up to 4 times their original size. This means the textures become bigger while adding new details! Most textures where upscaled to 4 times their size, while a few other ones were upscaled 2 times their size (since they already were kind of big). In this video you can see differences between enemies, environments, weapons, and a cutscene.
