Mayhem - Wall of Water Remastered

I am not here to take advantage of other people’s work - this is simply something I did on my free time for my own personal pleasure. ---------------- I always thought the sound quality on Mayhem’s Ordo Ad Chao was extremely subpar: muddy and flat, which makes in my opinion this extremely well crafted album needlessly difficult to listen and really get into. Having my own personal studio I wanted to see what I could do to improve the sound. Although some issues could not be fixed (there is an extremely high amount of clipping, especially in the drums) I believe this sound does the album much more justice. I wanted to maintain the dynamics and darkness of the original mix while adding more depth, clearness and ambiance. I did this mostly for my own personal pleasure but figured I could post a song and see what others would think. Again, the purpose of this is definitely not to steal anyone’s musical efforts, quite the contrary; I hold the utmost respect for Mayhem and I believe this album deserves better praise.
