Item title reads - Princess Mary opens new nurses’ hostel. Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridgeshire. Princess Mary stands on a platform with officials of the hostel, a lady curtsies and gives her some flowers. M/S as children walk up and give her little pouches which she hands to her lady-in-waiting. M/S as she walks out onto a balcony with the matron, the nurses are stood below and there are patients laid on beds outside, she stops and talks to one then moves on to another.
