Former director of Dublin VA Hospital arrested on child sex charges

The Dublin VA Hospital’s former Executive Medical Center Director is currently free on bond, after being arrested for child sex charges. Manuel Davila started with the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in 2022, and he stayed there until January 2024 when he was reassigned to a regional VA hospital. A few months later, on Marh 4, Davila resigned from the VA completely. On March 25, employees at Fairview Park Hospital called the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office about a possible child molestation. After their initial investigation, deputies arrested Davila the next day. He’s charged with four counts of child molestation, cruelty to children to the first degree, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
