Wagashi: The Story of Japanese Sweets – July Episode
Today (7/7) is Tanabata. No matter how difficult things get on Earth, people still manage to work hard and strive on. My hope is that at least the two lovers up in the sky can find each other today. The wagashi from this episode represents the two stars, wrapped up together in a bamboo leaf. It’s one of my favorite wagashi, and I can feel the love of the person who made it.
