Faith missed her daddy

She was so happy to see her daddy! For those who don’t know…Faith was boarding with me for about 1.5 months. Her owners moved out of the country…they were going to surrender her until they decided they missed her way too much so they literally contacted me the next day to ask if I would consider boarding her instead. Of course I said yes. They are currently working with CITES and immigration to get everything approved to take her over there. But as you can see….she totally missed her daddy! I know she was a boarder…but if you find a bird…please look for it’s owner! Only the owners that truly care will be looking for them. Accidents happen. Birds escape. I was lucky enough to reunite a lost macaw with its owner a few years ago and I will never forget the cry that baby let out when he heard his daddy’s voice. If you don’t think these babies miss their owners…here’s proof that they do! So please…if you find a bird…do the responsible thing and look for it’s owner. #birds #macaw #parrot #rescue #pets
