DCS Су-25 Одиночная миссия Afghanistan, 1987

After seven years of fighting, Mujahideen resistance doesn’t seem to weaken. In fact, with direct support from the USA and Pakistan, it only gets stronger. Soviets decide to raise the bar by attacking a large training camp near the city of Peshawar in Pakistani teritory. The airplane of choice is Su-25 and you take the role of captain Alexander Koshkin, the flight leader. Comrade captain, It is time to strike the Mujahideen where they don’t expect. They think they can train their fighters in Pakistan with impunity but they are wrong. You will lead a flight of four Su-25s and cause as much damage as possible to the large training camp near Peshawar. In order to avoid being attacked by Pakistani F-16s, after takeoff from Bagram, you will fly towards Jalalabad airfield in close formation at 500 km/h. This will give Pakistani early warning radars a single large contact and they should interpret it as a transport plane. You will then fake a landing approach after which you will proceed into Pakistani airspace at 50 meters altitude. Your primary targets in the camp are barracks. Hopefully, we can catch as many Mujahideen fighters in them as possible. You should make two bombing runs after which, you can make a single run with your S-24 rockets. Secondary targets include warehouses, fuel tanks, communication and electrical equipment and similar. If anti-aitcraft defence is not strong, you can make one last strafing pass against any vehicles or other soft targets you find. Then, you mus make a quick return to Afghanistani airspace before F-16s can catch you. Good luck, comrade captain!
