Camera Interviews - Billy Merson With Hermione Baddeley (1926)

No title. Billy Merson and Hermione Baddeley walk through a park with some children. Billy picks one of the younger children up and kisses and cuddles it. The children stand with their mouths open and Billy puts sweets in their mouths. A little girl stands alone crying. Hermione feeds the children too. Billy plays “Peep-bo!“ with a baby in a cot. Intertitle reads: “But supposing this was a permanent family“. Shot of Billy with lots of children not looking too happy! He pushes along a pram with five small children inside. We then see Hermione pushing the pram with Billy in it! He is drinking from a baby’s bottle and has a toy rabbit at the opposite end of the pram. Hermione hits him with the rabbit and he cries like a baby. Was an Eve’s Film Review item - issue number unknown. Safety print exists - show print. Probably to be found in the “Stars as They Are“ roll. Note: the shot of Billy pushing the pram full of children is quite funny. Could be used to illustrate fatherhood. Hermi
