“Todo povo Brasileiro tem o coração trancado...“ - Getúlio Vargas Death Poem

In 1954 as a result of a assassination attempt on the life of Carlos Lacerda (the main figure of the USA puppet party UDN), the opposition rallied against Vargas on a coup attempt. Vargas was innocent and managed to defuse most of the attempts against his government on the following days, including a petition made by the navy and any impeachment attempts. Unable to prove connections between Vargas and the life attempt and out of legal ways to remove him, the “Escola Superior de Guerra“, the UDN and other right wing forces launched a coup against Vargas ordering him to resign or face forcefull removal. Vargas responded committing suicide and causing such a public outrage that aborted the coup and crushed the opposition. Ironically the former president turned dictator and then elected president again sacrificed himself to save the Brazilian democracy, and gave ten not years for the Brazilian people to enjoy their freedom, many of them who were granted by himself.
