Flesh For Fantasy - My Lovely Mr. Singingclub A pretty interesting band here (and certainly not a typical German band), Red Aim have been creating their unique brand of quirky, irreverant hard rock for a number of years now. Based on their most recent album Niagara, they fit best in the stoner rock arena (though the band is not fond of the term), with a sound that at times sounds a bit like Queens Of The Stone Age and other times a bit more like recent Spiritual Beggars. A lot of bands in this camp tend to start sounding the same after a while, and somehow Red Aim manages to forge quite an original sound. Quite good indeed. They have been working on a new album, The Pink Necromantic, for some time, with no further details available.
