ANTHEM OF THE INNOCENT

The 4 octave Harmony Array Mbira with the Boss SY1 synthesizer pedal and the TC Electronics Sub N Up octave pedal. The right hand plays major key diatonic harmony while the left hand plays minor key diatonic harmony, but the FOOT controls the FILTER with an expression pedal. The gliding filter sounds as if the gliding VOICE of a munchkin with a singing PITCH, so I make melodies by foot, which you don’t see in the video, so to me its playing with two hands and one foot. The bass line is played by my thumbs, the chord progression by fingers and much of the melody by foot. The keyboard and guitar are the most popular polyphonic instruments, but nether of them can be played with anything like this methodology, I can play any note, say “C1“ with thumb, then C2 with index finger, C3 with middle finger, C4 with ring finger and C5 with little finger, then treat these as a chord or as a SEQUENCE.
