Weather forecast across South Africa today: Anticipated are intense thunderstorms that may cause roads, settlements, and low-lying areas to flood in the central regions of the Mpumalanga and KZN Province and the eastern areas of the Free State Province. The northern regions of the Northern Cape Province are anticipated to experience extremely high fire hazard conditions. Unfavourable conditions are expected in the interior areas of the West Coast district and Cape Winelands in the Western Cape Province, causing significant discomfort.
