Flooding chaos continues across Britain

Flooding has caused disruption across England, swamping roads and forcing vehicles to be abandoned, with more expected in nearly 30 areas despite an easing of heavy rain. The Environment Agency issued 26 flood warnings – meaning flooding is expected – and 71 alerts, meaning it is possible, across England.
