I’ll respectfully step aside – Botswana president concedes election defeat

Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi conceded election defeat after the ruling party, the Botswana Democratic Party, lost its parliamentary majority after nearly 60 years in power. Masisi stated he ’respected the will of the people’ and would ’respectfully step aside.’
