Making Wood Chopper & Branch Splitter

Branch cutters are generally known, but unfortunately their prices are high. Using our tools, we decided to make it ourselves and save a lot of money. The machine has two cutting shafts, thanks to which the resistance is lower than in the case of one shaft and the branches can be thicker. Additionally, we made two plates that cut the branches in half, which will enable the grinding of much thicker branches. The maximum diameter of shredded branches is approximately 8 cm. Thanks to the cutting discs, we can cut wood with a diameter of up to 15 cm in half. The tractor has a power of 18 HP Flywheel 15 kg The mechanism is made of 8 mm sheet metal and a 200 mm channel.
