What can Canadians expect from food prices in 2024?

Canadian families may see a hike in food prices this year, but experts predict that the increase will be lower than previous years. Based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Director of Agri-Food Analytics Lab Sylvain Charlebois forecasts a 2.5 per cent to 3 per cent increase.
