How to get a detailed 3D mesh in Qlone Face Scans for Dental CAD/CAM

In this video, we demonstrate how to use Qlone to create the most detailed 3D mesh in 3D face scans for dental CAD/CAM applications. Such scans can be exported in PLY, STL and OBJ for use in exocad, 3Shape, Medit and any other supporting software. The video shows a one-shot, unedited scanning sequence using the Qlone app on an iPhone 12 Pro and its companion Qlone Mac app on an M1 Mac. A few tips to observe: 1. When the scan is finished, select Process on Mac App and on the Mac select the RAW resolution. 2. Switch the phone to portrait while scanning to allow a closer distance to the face being scanned. 3. Switch to Manual (as seen in the video after 30 images) and take many close-up images of the teeth area. 4. Have consistent good lighting around the person. Update! Qlone app update was just released () which allows processing in Qlone cloud with RAW resolution so a Mac is no longer needed for getting the most detailed 3D mesh!
