Four young women separate after a night out, and find themselves confronted with the ordinary fear and paranoia of being a woman walking home alone. But not all threats are in the shadows.. WHY THIS SHORT FILM? Fear is an ingrained part of being a woman. Little things we do to stay safe are so automated that they are not even noticed in our everyday lives. The closing of a window, making sure the door is locked, avoiding the dark.. We are taught from an early age about stranger danger, people drugging drinks, and what we should do to stay safe. And yet.. 1 out of 4 women will experience attempted or completed sexual assault in their lives*. These numbers show that telling women to be careful about their behaviour is NOT the answer.
