Nature Aquarium Aquascape Tutorial - Low Maintenance Home Aquascape Step by Step
How we made this classic Nature Aquarium Layout in an easy to follow 10 minute step by step video.
This video walks you through each step of the aquascaping process.
At the time of filming the scape is just 3 weeks old. We will revisit this again in the future to see its progress.
This aquascape was created for my Dad, inside the family home. He wanted something with high impact and complexity, yet easy to care for and maintain. He also wanted to view the aquascape from two sides, as the aquarium is located in the corner of the living space. Therefore a triangular layout composition was the obvious option, offering another viewpoint from the left side of the aquarium.
Using a combination of soil and cosmetic sand, separated by rocks, has become a popular layout concept. Used in many of our showroom layouts too. The River Wood offers structure and height to the aquascape, as well as offering lots of opportunity to plant on to. There is lots of empty space to the left for fish to swim.
Please let us know what you think in the comments below. If you would like help in creating your own Nature Aquarium Layout don’t hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help. We have everything you need for your next Aquascape :-)
Thank you for watching.
Cheers
Dave
