Illegal Israeli settlers block humanitarian trucks for Gaza

Some 200 illegal Israeli settlers have gathered near the port city of Ashdod [Ishdud] to block humanitarian trucks from heading to besieged Gaza. Most of the protesters are affiliated with an extremist Jewish settlement group ‘Hilltop Youth’. The Israeli police refrained from intervening. On Tuesday, another group blocked aid in the city of Nitzana. “There is no innocent civilian population in Gaza. They gave power to Hamas. There shouldn’t be any humanitarian convoy allowed into this area,” Israel Is Forever, one of the co-organisers said.
