Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883 - San Jose to Seattle and back - 2500+ miles

In 2015, Subha and I went on an incredible three week journey from San Jose to Seattle (and back) on Harley Davidson motorcycles. We mostly took the back country roads up to Seattle and the amazing Pacific Coast Highway on the way back to San Jose. What a truly unique and lovely bike Iron 883 is! The custom solo low seat with a backpack forming the lower backrest for those long rides, the aggressive raised tank vibrating right next to my chest, and the unadulterated engine thump through the short pipes, makes a setup that is simple but ineffably fine. In the solitude of those long rides, whenever a dramatic scenery unfolded, my nose tingled with teary joy. Music by Lohstana David and Owsey.
