Prerana Deshpande Kathak Troupe - Shyam Chhabi

Prerana Deshpande’s disciples (Nrityadham Kathak Troupe) perform a traditional composition by Guru Bindadin Maharaj -- Shyam Chhabi. This “bhajan“ in Taal Jhaptaal depicts the beauty, virtues, and strength of Lord Krishna. This piece has been choreographed by Prerana Deshpande, sung beautifully by Pt Shounak Abhisheki, and accompanied on the tabla by Pt Supreet Deshpande. The dancers in this performance are Ishwari, Apoorva, Rucha and Kalyani.
