Attempting to make a ribbon controller

I have never really played anything that had a ribbon controller instead of a keyboard - or human interface as I believe it is called today. So I have for a while been thinking about attempting to make such a device. The only question was: How? Then suddenly I had some leftover conductive glue that I needed to use before it dried up in the tube. So I got the idea of making a resistive surface out of this substance and a touch strip made of duct tape and aluminium foil - not the heavy duty type that Alton Brown always use in worrying amounts, but instead the thin type that bends very easy. The music is something I casually threw together during a weekend where I had nothing else to waste my life doing. The first piece is played n Solton MS-100 and the second is played on Boss DR-202 and Roland JX-8P.
