Artist Bio: Fragile City started as many things do these days, on the internet. Ryan, their bassist/singer, and Chad, their drummer, were looking for musicians interested in starting a punk rock band. They jammed once with one guy, who didn’t seem to like them much, but they liked each other and the songs they were starting to craft. While looking to fill the much-needed guitar, Chad had only to look to his next-door neighbor and soaring guitarist, Jon. When the three of them met up and jammed; it was magical. Although Jon was mostly into metal, he did enjoy playing punk tunes and brought his metal flavor to the band. They started writing more and more and then the night before recording their EP, they decided to make all the songs a full step down in tuning, which is how it has stayed to this day. After the songs were recorded, they booked their first show, but they had one problem: They didn’t have a name. They had a HARD time deciding on a name, so many were thrown out there, but one ultimately stuck. That being of course Fragile City. They started rocking all the venues in Denver they could in 2022 and 2023. In late 2023, the band realized that they needed a second guitarist, so they reached out to Chris, who played with the band from October 2023 to April 2024, leaving to focus on his project, Trauma Czars. With Chris’ departure, the band then reached out to Eric, who joined in April 2024. They have released 3 EPs, Self-Titled in 2022 & ’Live Transmissions’ in 2023, with their self-titled EP even written up in the Westword. They just released ANOTHER EP ’Bus Stops & Bruises’ in April of 2024. The first single “Fragile City“ dropped on 3/4/2024. They have shared the stage with a plethora of different genres and diverse bands from metal, to punk, to hardcore, and ska bands too such as: Crimson Riot (NV), Moonraker (CA), Public Serpents (NJ), Mercy Music (NV), System Restore (WY), Wes Hoffman & Friends (MO), The Killigans (NE), Years Down, Bury Mia Reno Divorce, Dryer Fire, The Sleights, Land of Wolves (WA), Red Stinger, One Time Crime, Good Family, Trauma Czars, American Overdose, Flashes Red, Cobranoid, Messiahvore, The Swashbuckling Doctors, Origami Summer, Waste Basket, Lambed, Violence In Violet, Blood Across The Sky, Hit The Bricks, Undisassembled, Anti-Formula,& Flight Kamikaze.
