Customer Feature of the Week - Using INTERCONNECT Electrical Equivalent Circuits for Cosimulation
This week’s video discusses the availability of INTERCONNECT electrical equivalent circuits for co-simulation with Cadence Virtuoso. When running electro-optical co-simulations between Ansys Lumerical INTERCONNECT and Cadence Virtuoso, the electrical equivalent circuit of optical models is typically handled by Virtuoso. If the electrical equivalent circuit is not contained in the Virtuoso model, it is now possible to enable the INTERCONNECT equivalent circuit allowing users to account for the limited bandwidth of the electro-optical component.
