2000hp Twin Turbo 540ci Bubble Top Impala | Great 8 Finalist at Detroit Autorama
This ’61 Chevy Bubble Top Impala is truly one of the finest builds I’ve ever seen. Built by Steve Cook for Gil Losi with the intent of winning the coveted Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama they went all in and they went deep. At the heart of this beast is a 540ci twin turbo Moran Racing engine making 2000hp but currently detuned down to 1800hp and it sits on a one off custom Art Morrison chassis with Ride Tech’s Shockwave system. This is truly a rolling work of art and thanks to Gil’s family and Brandon from Overdriven Performance we got to spend a day with it so sit back and enjoy the ride...
