Modern Trailer to celebrate David Lynch’s DUNE from 1984

This is a brand new 2018 trailer for the 1984 film “DUNE”. With a new version of the classic story coming out in the near future, this seemed like a good time to revisit the original movie. I loved this bizarre film when I saw it on VHS in the late 80’s. This inspired me to read the entire Dune Series of books and several other novels and short stories from Frank Herbert. This trailer was made from the HD BluRay footage of the studio release of Dune and it’s never looked better. Dune was an ambitious film to attempt in 1984 with no digital cameras or computers. It’s by no means a perfect film, but I love it anyway and it will always have a special place in my heart and mind. Thank you Dino De Laurentis and David Lynch!
