France gives famed actress Sarah Bernhardt a magnificent funeral (she died 26-3-23 at age 78). Paris, France. MS as cortege is prepared for departure: black horses pull floats covered with dark fabric trimmed with white fringe and piled high with mountainous floral displays. LS pallbearers lift coffin into back of a coach. MS pallbearers standing behind coach; one man visibly grief-stricken; covering his face and crying; while another dabs at his eyes with a handkerchief. Shot looking over head of crowd as procession passes. The coach is quite grand as well; and its driver dressed in 18th century style. On either side a row of girls carry palm leaves.
