The Perth Mint’s 125th Anniversary 2024 1oz Gold and Silver Proof Coins

Collectors save the date! As we celebrate our special 125th anniversary this year we are proud to release The Perth Mint’s 125th Anniversary 2024 1oz Gold and Silver Proof Coins for collectors. With a milestone design featuring a kangaroo, koala, and kookaburra reflecting our best-known contemporary coin series, no more than 500 pure gold and 10,000 pure silver proofs will be minted. Expected to be highly sought after, these anniversary pieces will be available online and at The Perth Mint Shop from 9 April. In-store purchasers can benefit from coins accompanied by a low number certificate – between 2 and 20 for gold proofs, and between 5 and 200 for silver proofs. To secure the lowest available certificate, collectors interested in purchasing the anniversary collectables are advised to plan an early visit to the Mint where gates open at on 9 April.
