thumbail: wildpoint ok i knew that i would beat firework soon and that it was overdue but even so it does feel weird to have it done. this did not start when i started firework but started after i beat bloodbath z in 2880 attempts and i started considering some insane demons because literally my motivation not to play a hard demon was my belief that all of them were bad (quite literally this alone made me do a 2 year jump that i would regret immensely) and i chose firewall and then after like 5 or 10k attempts i forgot i got 46-100. then i dropped this for supersonic and i think i got 40% or something like that but nothing from the ending. after this i tried cataclysm for a few hours, then after i tried bloodbath for like a week and did bloodbath practice run under 100 attempts, then i dropped this for thanatophobia and i think i got to the drop after like 10k, then i ironically dropped this for nine circles and i think i beat the wave, and then i dropped this for kenos. this was the first level i truly believed i would play until i beat it, and i spent 50k and got 20% and first wave done only, but then i moved to america, and my pc would take months until it arrived. while the pc was arriving i thought about it and decided to jump to firework. over the first few months it was slow progress but easier than i thought. it was only about a year later that i started to make “serious“ progress such as 32%. i would only play from 0 and later i got 34, which was very sad, cuz i would have started playing from second half if it wasnt for that. i got incredibly unlucky with this, probably passed 24 like 15-20 times before i got 38 again, but i finally got it just before 2023. after this, i started doing runs in the second half. it was rather quick, especially when i switched from 144 to 360. i pretty quickly (for my standards) got 59-100, followed by 45-93, and then i got to 36. this was pretty hard, and i got unlucky, but finally, i got 36-98, 4 months after 38. after this i started going from 0, but i felt a bit hopeless, because how could i expect to beat firework, when i was only passing 36 every 2-3 days. after i got 44, my hand for some reason just felt completely uncomfortable with my mouse. i just could not find any hand position that wouldnt hurt or feel uncomfortable. so after this i didnt know what to do, but then one day after it was rly bad SOMEONE who choked the fan convinced me to try keyboard. then i went from 44 to 80 in 10 days, and i thought i could be done with firework in a month or so. however, progress really really slowed down after 80 and i got 83, 85, and 90. however, i really wanted to beat it before july, beacuse i was taking a two month trip to europe. unfortuantely i did not beat it before then, and was forced a 2 month break, but after this, i thought i would be shit at firework, but i got 98 in 4 days (15 attempts after i got 90x2) i thought that after this i would easily beat it within a week but i didnt, and i started losing crazy consistency. i dropped firework for about a week after 98, then after like 20 days with my half decent consistency i got 95, then i dropped for a week again and then picked it up, 20 days later i got 96, dropped it for a week. after a month later, i tried brute forcing a completion, which brings us to here. it is crazy being able to say i beat firework but tbh, i barely feel happy or satisfied, which is really weird. hopefully this feeling doesnt stay and i actually realize how crazy this is but for now it doesnt even feel impressive, maybe because the completion was so overdue, or something like that, but im still glad im done with this. attempts: 574465 started on october 31 2021, the day firework was released
