While BRAVEHEART became both a blockbuster and an Oscar-winner, ROB ROY was only a modest success and was totally overshadowed by its competition. Nonetheless, it has picked up a cult following over the years, with Liam Neeson terrific as the highland rogue, with the concluding sword fight with Tim Roth (who received his sole Oscar nomination for the role) a highlight.
