Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 testing at Monza: Starts, Pit Limiter, Downshifts & Pure V10 Sound!
Lamborghini is yet another manufaturer that has updated its GT3-class weapon ahead of the 2023 season and of course for the upcoming LMGT3-class of the FIA WEC from 2024. The Huracán GT3 has reached its third generation with an interesting upgrade package (called ’EVO2’), always developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
The main aesthetic characteristics that distinguish the EVO2 from the previous GT3 EVO are for sure the new airscoop and rear fin, taken from the Huracán Super Trofeo race cars. The scoop was introduced to contribute to greater efficiency of the intake system and it’s connected to a snorkel which optimally channels the airflow directly into the engine. This also allowed to remove the two side air vents on the upper part of the GT3 EVO body and reshape it for better air flow to the rear wing. Other visible changes have been made to the rear diffuser, there’s a new front splitter and new front and rear bumpers with design elements that refer to the Huracán STO
