Bob Weighton, a former teacher and engineer, was born in Hull on March 29, 1908. But the centenarian hates people gushing over him and has even asked the Queen not to send him cards in the future. The centenarian who had two sons, a daughter, 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren has a simple answer - just ’avoid dying’.
