Two Voyages part 2: William’s story

Child migrant William tells us about his experiences sailing from London to Australia in 1950 on board ’SS Ormonde’ in this dramatisation. This short film, shot on location at Merseyside Maritime Museum, was originally made for the exhibition ’On their own: Britain’s child migrants’, which was at Merseyside Maritime Museum from 17 October 2014 to 4 October 2015.
