Finding Dory cake topper: Hank the octopus model (septopus)

How to make a Hank cake topper ( The octopus, or technically the septopus ) from the new Finding Dory movie. I make this cake model using modelling paste / gum paste, you could also use fondant / roll out icing and mix in some tylose powder to make it set a little harder.
