Brands Hatch, Kent. GV. Cars parading round circuit prior to Brand Hatch stock cars race, & SV. CU. Pan, Ted Janes of the US Air Force. CU. One of the very thick girder bumper cars. SV. Ellis Ford doing up his safety strap, & CU. GV. Contestants roll around circuit on warm-up lap. LV. As cars move at either side of camera. LV. Starter in middle of track drops the flag and runs clear as the cars accelerate towards camera. GV. Pan as they go around track. One bounces over oil drum and another skids off the track and comes back on again. CU. Cars racing. GV. One car hits oil drum and forces two more off the track, & LV. LV. Cars at speed, & CU. Top shot of cars speeding. LV. Car No 233 hits a stationary car and turns over. It eventually lands up on its four wheels again. LV. Another car skids off track in order to avoid crash. LV.
