Making Baby Shoes Using Masking Tape (BEFORE She Starts Walking!)

Leather always tells a story, and in this case it’s the story of our baby girl’s first steps. I have wanted to try making some simple shoes, and I couldn’t think of a better occasion than this! I hope this encourages you to try something new! As you’ll see in the video, a key tool in this project was my Tandy Pro NP-4 skiving machine. I really needed to keep the seam bulk to a minimum inside these tiny shoes, and the NP-4 made quick work of this otherwise tedious job. Huge thanks to Tandy Leather for sponsoring this video and making it possible for me to bring this tool into my shop! You can check out the skiving machine here: Here is a link to the leather I used as well (“Montana“ Veg Tan sides from Tandy): Thanks for watching, friends! Enjoy the people around you... these ARE the good old days
