Modular Origami 30 units- Lesser stellated dodecahedron (Silent) #modularorigami

Paper: 10cm x 10cm origami paper, 30 sheets This model is designed by Meenakshi Mukhopadh. It is a spiked dodecahedron. The normal dodecahedron, one of the five platonic solids, has 12 faces, each face is a 5-gon. The spiked dodecahedron has 60 faces, each face is an isosceles triangle. Plato associated the classical elements (earth, air, water, fire, and ether) with the five platonic solids. Ether is the dodecahedron, it is the fifth element.
