Saudi Arabia goes underwater ๐ฐ Continuous rains have caused flooding in the Arabian Peninsula
There have been a number of natural disasters in Saudi Arabia. Due to long rains, several cities were flooded.
In Saudi Arabia, in the west of the Arabian Peninsula, many cities and surrounding areas were flooded due to heavy rainfall.
The holy city of Mecca was at the mercy of the elements. Due to extreme weather conditions, the annual pilgrimage of believers was disrupted.
The whole world has been thrown into shock and dismay by the horrific scenes of flooded streets in Saudi Arabia.
The incessant rains destroyed the cityโs drainage systems, causing flash floods and catastrophic damage in the city.
The streets of many cities in the country are flooded, due to which it was decided to cancel classes in schools.
According to meteorologists, the rainy weather will continue in the country for a few more days.
It is worth noting that this is not the first case in recent months of extreme weather in Saudi Arabia.
Natural disasters caused by incessant rainfall had earlier claimed the lives of two people and also caused serious power outages.
The countryโs authorities have decided to send several rescue teams to places of particular danger to life in order to help the victims.
Many people have had to leave their homes. Fortunately, temporary shelters have been provided in the country for all evacuees.
The storm severely disrupted the lives of the residents of Mecca. Residents had to hide in the upper floors of buildings in an attempt to escape the fury of nature.
The most painful blow from nature for Saudi Arabia turned out to be the storm on the city of Makkah. The most sacred place for Muslims, the Kaaba, was threatened.
Fortunately local authorities responded quickly to the extreme weather conditions and provided security for the colonels.
