Angelina Jolie’s uncle, Chip Taylor, wrote Wild Thing and Angel of the Morning and his latest hit is The Last Video from Block Out The Sirens of This Lonely World (out May 2013). The video is directed by 4-time Juno Award winner Jeth Weinrich, who also did the acclaimed video for F**k All The Perfect People. Following his success as a songwriter, Chip was professional gambler and elite horse race handicapper. After his return to music he has released a string of acclaimed Americana records, including several with Carrie Rodriguez, and wrote/produced “Big Trucks“ for Kendel Carson. His songs have been recorded by Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Willie Nelson, Dusty Springfield, Waylon Jennings, George Strait and many others.
