Question Period: MLA David Eby asks about gaming policy changes and role of Lottery Corp CEO

“Yesterday we asked the Minister of Finance about Michael Graydon’s efforts to lobby the minister to increase profits for casino operators immediately before he left the B.C. Lottery Corporation to work for a casino operator. To refresh the minister’s memory, Mr. Graydon lobbied for the change up until his departure from BCLC on January 29, 2014. The minister formally approved the change five weeks later, and the internal audit division completed its review of Mr. Graydon’s activities in July 2014. The minister told this House: “The internal audit division, by my recollection of the report, didn’t find anything untoward about that process.“ Can the minister tell this House on which page of the internal audit division’s report they discussed Mr. Graydon’s lobbying activities?“
