Artist in Residence: Jeff Rice and the Hidden World of Pando

In 2022, sound conservationist and artist Jeff Rice took part in Friends of Pando’s Artist in Residence. Working with Lance Oditt, he deployed an array of above and below ground microphones to capture the workings of the world’s largest tree. The video features audio captured deep in the tree roots as a storm rages above.
