W. Mozart - Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish March) from Piano sonata no. 11 in A major

W. Mozart - Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish March) from Piano sonata no. 11 in A major Performed by Eduardo. The last movement of sonata number 11 in A major, marked alla turca, popularly known as the “Turkish Rondo“ or “Turkish March“, often sounds on its own and is one of Mozart’s most famous piano works. Mozart himself called “Rondo alla turca“. It imitates the sound of the Turkish band of Janissaries, whose music was in vogue at the time. This Turkish style is imitated by other works of the time, including Mozart’s own opera, The Abduction from the Seraglio. In Mozart’s time, the last movement was sometimes played on a piano built with a “turkish stop“, which allowed it to be embellished with additional percussion effects. --------------------------------------------- If you need help finding sheet music or want to help the channel🙏, you can become a sponsor of my YouTube channel “Listen to Musical Notes“ at the link: 👉 or make donations of any amount to the development of the project in Paypal: 👉 You can also click on the “$Thanks$“ button under any of my videos.
