Usually cats don’t attack hedgehogs. Cats quickly learn that contact with hedgehogs can be very painful and even bloody and avoid direct contact. The greatest danger for hedgehogs are badgers, eagle owls and the human - the hedgehog suffers from the death of insects, the progressive loss of natural green spaces and the fragmentation of its habitat.
