Mandali Moments - Mani and Eruch - Baba’s gestures Part

In the early 1970s Steven Hein videotaped Meher Baba’s mandali (close disciples) with a reel-to-reel videotape recorder. The tapes were copied to VHS cassettes by Tony Zois, and later to Betacam SP tapes by Kristine Wyld. In this video, Meher Baba’s sister Mani Irani, and his chief interpreter, Eruch Jessawala, describe some of the gestures that Meher Baba used to communicate during his silence of 44 years. Mani and Eruch demonstrate the gestures used for the letters of the English alphabet.
